The plan to purchase land has been delayed, so we decided to move to a new RV park with more space.
As we were leaving, the RV developed some mechanical issues that worried us. My husband was under the RV troubleshooting the problem. I could tell he was stressed as he worked, and suddenly he urgently yelled, “Can you quickly grab my pry bar?”
I had no idea where to find the tool, but he briefly described two large toolboxes I could check. As I headed over to them, I asked God to help me locate it quickly since I sensed he needed it urgently.
The moment I touched the first box, I heard a gentle voice in the back of my head saying, “No, not this one. Check the bag in front of you.” Sure enough, the pry bar was in that bag.
It brought back so many memories of how God had protected us over the past two and a half years of full-time travel on the road, just like today.
I am just like the Israelites from the Bible, rejoice quickly in God’s miracles but just as quickly forget about Him when things turn south.
Let me hold those precious memories close to my heart, knowing that no matter how good or bad the circumstances are, God planned them out of love for me.
