Since leaving Chicago, I’ve had bad dreams every night for the past three nights. They’ve all been dark, scenes of either killing or being killed. I’m not sure what’s triggering them, but I know they don’t come from my heart. I pray to Jesus to purify and heal the darkness within me, and I bless the spirits involved, asking that they may find peace and rest.
Today, we arrived in PEI and met many family members I had never met before. While it was meaningful, I feel far from home, exhausted, and a bit like an outsider in my mother-in-law’s family.
Lord, I trust that You never make mistakes. Every encounter in my life is arranged by You for a purpose. Please give me strength and patience to be fully present with everyone I speak to. Fill my heart with Your love so it can overflow to everyone I meet. Thank You, Father God, for providing safety and for meeting all my needs on this journey and in life.
