cherish solitude and quietness

I’m thankful that work wasn’t too busy today, which gave me the chance to organize all the mess in the house. It’s about 80% done, and it’s really starting to feel like home now. The cat is doing much better, too.

I truly love how quiet this area is. The 40-minute drive to town is a bit farther than I initially wanted, but for the peace of mind, it’s totally worth it.

When I was younger, I was very extroverted, loving crowds and excitement. But as I’ve grown older, and especially in my walk with Jesus, I’ve started to cherish solitude and quietness.
