Oh Lord, thank You for showing up in my heart today when I feel troubled by someone else’s emotions. I know they need me, but I also recognize that it is not my responsibility to carry the weight of their emotional needs. Thank You for guiding me in moments like this and teaching me how to respond with wisdom and grace.

I surrender myself to You, Lord. Instead of feeling burdened, I choose to be a vessel of prayer, lifting them up to You. I place in Your hands all those in my life who need Your love, patience, and guidance. May I focus on emptying myself, so that You can work through me according to Your will. Amen.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Help me to hold my desires with open hands as I continue to believe that when I delight in You, You will give me the desires of my heart. — From today’s devo
