This morning, my husband sent me an image, and for some reason, I forwarded it to a friend I hadn’t talked to in forever. Somehow, it was exactly what she needed. I got to learn a bit about what she’s going through, and she shared that she is not ready to face a new challenge in her life.

I shared my hiking story with her, trying to encourage her to keep going. There is more within us than we think. I could feel she needed to hear that.

This is a perfect example of how God moves between hearts. It’s amazing to see it and be part of it.

I pray to you, Lord, keep me from all evil temptation so that my heart can be pure and open. Dwell within me and use me to fulfill Your will. Help me see and remember that this world is not my concern. Your world is my real home. Let me focus on investing in the real kingdom.
