We took the family up to Mt. Baker today to see the snow, and it was truly beautiful. Watching everyone enjoying themselves up there made me feel so grateful to live close to the mountains. I’m also thankful to have a home nearby and a body still young enough to enjoy activities like this. I’ve never skied before, but I’m planning to hit the slopes next year, it’s something to look forward to!
Spending another day with family was wonderful, though I felt a bit tired in the middle of the day. It made me reflect on why people often feel drained during family gatherings. From my experience, it’s when the time together feels more like an obligation than genuine enjoyment, or when meaningful conversations are missing, that fatigue seems to creep in.
I pray that we continue to have heartfelt conversations and that every family gathering becomes a cherished moment for all of us. Lord, may our hearts be filled with Your love. Let me reflect the person You want me to be and allow Your love to flow through me to bless others. And thank you Lord, for all the sweet and great things You have done for us. Amen.
