I know better now

This morning, my husband and I were checking our trucks. It’s fun to do this together because he loves cars, and we might need one soon.

In the afternoon, I was thinking about the property again and trying to submit my concerns to God. A negative thought crept in: “You already checked out another affordable property and turned it down because you had a bad feeling about it. Now, that one is much better than this one, and you lost a good deal.”

I got caught up in that thought for a while. It’s so easy to focus on the negative aspects of life. But I know better now and I am standing my ground to not think that way anymore. I reframed my thoughts to: If it’s meant for me, I will have it, no matter the circumstances. If I don’t receive it, then it’s God’s blessing, protecting me from danger and evil temptation.
