Spent three hours at Patrick’s today, meeting with her friend Gale. Had such good conversations with both of them, it was time well spent. And I found out she loves to swim and we might be teaming up to swim in the future which is very exciting for me.
Tomorrow, we’re heading to Phoenix to pick up our stored belongings. I honestly didn’t think this trip would be possible before I leave for China at the end of the month. It’s about a 24-hour drive one way, and the thought of spending 48 hours on the road has been daunting. But out of nowhere, a friend in Phoenix offered to sell us his truck for a very low price. That truck will make hauling everything back so much more manageable, especially in this busy, time-crunched season before Christmas.
Lord, thank You once again for Your perfect provision and timing. Even in the midst of my plans, You always make a way. Help me to follow Your lead, keep my eyes open to see You more clearly, and my ears attuned to hear You more deeply.
Had a gaming session with our usual squad tonight. Knowing I’ll be away for a while, they went out of their way to make sure I could enjoy more time with them before I leave, it was so thoughtful. I really love my gaming squad.
Each experience I have with different people makes me cherish relationships even more. In a world where so many chase after fleeting things, it’s become clear to me that what truly matters is the heart. My heart longs for meaningful connections and heartfelt relationships. It’s not about money or personal goals, it’s about people. I want to be present, to truly experience and value the beauty of the relationships God places in my life.
