Simple powerful practice

Amazing women

Got to talk to a few new ladies in the bible study and I have noticed that all the amazing powerful and inspiring stories come from deep sufferings, a lady that got burned 80 % of her body when she was 17 years old, boyfriend died in the fire.

A widow whose husband got killed…

People truly transform in the pain, and that is the true power of God. Sitting there listening to their stories make me feel hornored to know them, and to be part of this group.

Julie’s words, “There is nothing wasted on the altar,” beautifully capture how God uses each of us and every experience to fulfill His Kingdom. The key is to place everything we have, including ourselves, on the altar so that He can do His work and transform us to shine as true children of God.

Put everything on the alter

The coin method I’ve been practicing for the past two days has truly freed me from overthinking. Whether it’s something small, like deciding what to eat, or something bigger, like whether to drop my work and let go of my responsibilities, I’ve surrendered everything to His control. If the answer I get is yes, I act on it without hesitation. If the answer is no, I let it go, no matter how much I want it.

This practice is so simple that it might almost seem silly, but the power of God I’ve experienced through it has been tremendous. It has helped me surrender in ways I never thought possible, and I’m committed to continuing it.

Oh Lord, I love you and I want you to be proud of me.
